Schindler's Factory visit and evening walk through the city

 In the afternoon, it was a visit to Schindler's Factory, which had been turned into a museum to show what Ghetto life was like for the Krakow Jews.    Very well done with lots of old photos, and the basement turned into rooms that mimic the terrible living conditions inside the ghetto.

On the way back there was this section of wall donated by Gdansk City Council- part of the wall that Lech Walesa scaled as part of the Solidarnosc movement, which was the catalyst for the collapse of communism in Poland and Europe 



A walk back through the ghetto area  revealed this plaque:


The weather really has warmed up, so it was perfect for a guided evening walk through the city.
